Our Project Approach

INSTALLATIONS

NBS provide solar energy solutions ranging from comercial solar power stations to home electrification systems and consumer electrical goods of global standards .With our operating offices in Trivandrm, capital city of Gods own Country (Kerala) ,Solar Factory is delivering renewable energy solutions all over Kerala And having subsidiary companies in UAE and Hong Kong and with overseas office at Abu Dhabi ,our area of operation extends to sunny Tamil Nadu.

Providing high quality solar energy solution supported by efficient and prompt after sales services to customers is the core theme of our business. Being a renewable energy company ,we are dedicated to be part of the global movement to save our planet from the emerging climatic calamity by popularizing the green way of energy production and consumption at the same time adding value to their renewable energy assets. To achieve these targets, we collaborate with international organizations, corporations ,manufacturers and research establishments to bring in the latest technology and practices to our customers. We are partnering with the Government of Kerala to achieve the target of 2,000 Mega Watt of solar electricity by 2020 through various nitiatives of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(ANERT) and state level implementation agencies. While Solar electricity is our core business area ,Solar Factory is also aggressively active in solar thermal applications too.

Why Solar

Solar electricity systems work on the principle of photo electricity. When light fall on some surfaces, electric charge is generated. This phenomena is called photo electricity. In some materials the electric charge generated by this activity is high. This electric charge can be collected and stored for further use.

The electric charge generated by solar panels is collected and rooted to the storage battery through a charge controller. Panels generate direct current DC) and the out put of the storage battery is also the same. So we have to convert it to alternate current (AC) for domestic use through an inverter.

Energy unlimited

On a surface on the Earth’s orbit, normal to the sun, solar radiation hits at the rate of 1,366 Watt Per Meter Square. India gets more than 5,000 trillion kWh of SolarEnergy every year. This much of energy is very high compared to the overall energy requirement and consumption in the country. As regards the latest trends in developed countries like the U.S. and Japan, it is estimated by industry experts that millions of homes around the world are going to switch to solar energy in thenext few years.Same story is replicated in India also.In fact, fossil fuels are also one form of solar energy stored in organic matter. With fossil fuels making major impact on the environment and raising issues of pollution and global warming, solar energy has increased in its importance to industries and homes. While the reserves of fossil fuels are restricted, there is no limitation to the availability of solar energy. With improvement in solar energy technology and the increase in prices of fossil fuel, solar energy is graduallybecoming more and more affordable. The amount of energy released by a single Kilo Watt of solar energy unit is equivalent to burning as much as 76 Kg of coal that releases over 135 Kg of carbon dioxide.

Falling cost

In the last few years, the cost of manufacturing of photovoltaic cells has gone down by as much as 5% in a year and the percentage of government subsidies have goneup. Government of India is offering 30 percent of subsidy for every solar power plant. This means that every year, it is becoming more and more affordable to use Solar Energy. From 2004 onwared , the global solar cell production is increasing by as much as 60% per annum. In the last few years the number of photovoltaic installations on homes connected to utility grid has grown significantly. And, the demand for Solar Energy has grown due to policies in green pricing from utilities and government rebate programs. The demand has also grown due to the interest of households to get electricity from renewable, non-polluting and clean source. The returns on the initial high costs of installation are in the form selling solar energy to the grid at premium rates and also in the form of long-term savings that come in the form of not having to pay any utility bills.
